It shows a lot of skill to place Rosina’s golden coloraturas exactly at the same time when she trips over on the stairs.
Reut Ventorero showcased her mezzo soprano voice full of colours in the lower registers, while staying very clear in her coloraturas.
As the evening progressed, Reut Ventorero in the role of Rosina blossomed more and more; portraying all sides of Rosina changes in the role from naive and adoring woman to the sad and angry woman she becomes.
Brava lei ..."
“Fantastic, one-time experience, which is impossible to get through recordings…a celebration of color and joy of life…much of the success of the evening is credited to the vocal ensemble, consisting of ten soloists considered to be the best in the field in Israel. The most outstanding to my taste were the singers Revital Raviv, Hadas Faran-Asia and Reut Ventorero…these are relatively young singers but still very experienced, that know not only how to sing but how to act and charm as well. They acted wonderfully with lots of humor and grace, but also keeping an uncompromising good taste of style.
From all the pearls produced by the soloists, Reut Ventorero's performance of the air "Fairest Isle" was especially shining; she sang it while moving through the orchestra players, caressing them gracefully…Creative thinking outside the box…splendid evening."
“Last night at the Tel-Aviv Museum…the singers were satisfying, as soloists (especially Reut Ventorero, Eithan Drori and Hadas Faran-Asia) and as a wonderfully unified ensemble…”
"…The very beautiful Eurydice by Reut Ventorero, very touching and with great musical presence."
"Among the women, I especially appreciated Proserpine and Eurydice, two roles in the center of the plot. The singer who interpreted Eurydice, Reut Ventorero, was just two meters from me during her last aria of love and farewell. It was marvelous to see her so nearby! … I could see all her facial expressions, with very well-mastered nuances (she is capable of producing magnificent and very dramatic pianissimi)."
