Reut Ventorero, Mezzosoprano
Acclaimed for her “beautiful timber and outstanding stage credibility” (Conessiall’opera) and for her “powerful, agile voice together with expressivity and grand dramatic ability” (Olyrix), Reut Ventorero approaches varied repertoire with depth, curiosity and eclecticism forged by her training and diverse musical experiences.
Ms. Ventorero sang as a soloist in major concert halls, Opera houses and festivals around Europe under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, Daniele Rustioni, Stefano Montanari, Michele Gamba, Speranza Scappucci, Michele Spotti, and Leonardo García Alarcón, among others.
Current season engagements include appearances at the Semperoper Dresden as Teresa (la Sonnambula) staged by Rolando Villazón and conducted by Evelino Pidò and Antonello Allemandi, the Opéra de Toulon as Lola (Cavalleria Rusticana), concerts with Ensemble Meitar (Conductor: Steven Sloane), Lieder Recitals and the premiere of the piece The Black Night Organ by Menachem Wiesenberg in which the mezzo-soprano part was written especially for her voice. She recently completed a tour with Opera Lomabrdia and La Rete Lirica delle Marche as Flora (La Traviata) and made her debut with The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra singing a song cycle for mezzo-soprano and Orchestra composed by Oded Zehavi under the baton of Nimrod David Pfeffer as part of the Israeli Music Fest.
She is colleborating regularly with leading Israeli composers and her album with the pianist Hagai Yodan, dedicated to the Israeli Art Song will be released by the Israeli Music Institute on November 2023.
Highlights of past seasons include Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) in the Theater Orchester Biel-Solothurn and in the Opéra de Saint-Étienne, Annina (La Traviata) Opéra de Saint-Étienne, Mrs. Fairboalt and Mrs. Ahearn in Hana Ajiashvili’s new opera “Cut Glass” at the Felicja Blumental International Music Festival, appearances in the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma as Teresa (La Sonnambula) recorded and filmed to Rai 3 and Rai 5 and later as Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) in a production directed by Graham Vick.
As a member of the first edition of “Fabbrica” Young Artist Program of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma she was engaged to sing the roles of Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia – Figaro! OperaCamion touring Rome, Reggio Emilia and later in Teatro Massimo di Palermo); Zerlina (Don Giovanni); Giovanna (Rigoletto); Ines (Il Trovatore); Eine Kunstgewerblerin (Lulu); Seconda Conversa (Suor Angelica) and Lo Scoiattolo (Lo scoiattolo in gamba).
Her festival appearances include the Utrecht Festival of Early Music, Festival Classique, the Holland Festival and the Dag van La Petite Bande. Her concert engagements include collaborations with the Roma Tre Orchestra, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, the Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, the Israeli Schubertiade the Symphonette Ra’anana Orchestra and the Ensemble Solistes XXI in repertoire ranges from early baroque to contemporary music.
Ms. Ventorero is a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance and the Royal Conservatory of the Hague where she specialized in early music performance practice. During the years her main voice teachers were Ella Milch-Sheriff, Bibiana Goldenthal, Neil Semer and Lucrezia Messa. Her present vocal coach is Pietro Naviglio.
She was invited to take part in various prestigious young artists programs such as the Voice and Creation Residency of the Academy of Aix-en-Provence Festival, the Luzern Festival Academy guided by Barbara Hannigan, and the Ambronay Festival Academy, performing Euridice in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo in its European tour. In addition, she participated regularly in the summer opera program of the IVAI in Tel-Aviv and in Canto vocal programs in Croatia and France.
Ms. Ventorero is a scholarship recipient by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Ronen Foundation and the Israel Vocal Arts Institute. She has won the Excellence Award from the Buchman-Heiman Foundation.

Perfeziona la sua formazione con Elly Ameling, Mariella Devia, Monica Bacelli, Paul Agnew, Roberto Frontali, Johannette Zomer, Peter Harvey, Christian Immler, Andreas Scholl, Hilary Summers.
Viene selezionata per partecipare a importanti accademie e opera-studio fra cui: il programma del International Vocal Arts Institute di Tel Aviv (fra il 2012 e il 2015); l’Académie baroque européenne d’Ambronay (2013) all’interno della quale interpreta il ruolo di Euridice ne L’Orfeo di Monteverdi in una tournée europea diretta da Leonardo García Alarcón; Lucerne Festival Academy (2014) in cui ha avuto l’occasione di interpretare Coro di Luciano Berio diretta da Sir Simon Rattle e di studiare con Barbara Hannigan; i programmi Voix e Création presso l’Académie du Festival d’Aix-en-Provence (2015) nell’ambito della quale esegue pubblicamente brani scritti specificamente per la sua voce; “Fabbrica”, Young Artist Program del Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (2016-2017).
Nell’ambito di “Fabbrica” interpreta diversi ruoli al Teatro dell’Opera di Roma fra cui la protagonista ne Lo scoiattolo in gamba di Nino Rota, la seconda conversa in Suor Angelica (direttore Daniele Rustioni, regia di Damiano Michieletto), Giovanna nel Rigoletto (direttore Michele Gamba, regia di Leo Muscato), Ines ne Il trovatore (direttore Jader Bignamini, regia di Alex Ollé – La Fura dels Baus) e l’arredatrice nella Lulu di Berg (direttore Alejo Pérez, regia di William Kentridge). Sempre all’interno di “Fabbrica” interpreta Rosina ne Il barbiere di Siviglia e Zerlina nel Don Giovanni nelle versioni itineranti di OperaCamion, per la regia di Fabio Cherstich. Il Barbiere di Siviglia nella versione OperaCamion è stato replicato a Roma, Palermo (in coproduzione con il Teatro Massimo), Milano, Bologna, Camerino (progetto #Rossini150).
Nel 2018 ha interpretato Rosina ne Il barbiere di Siviglia al Theater Orchester Biel Solothur, Teresa ne la Sonnambula (direttore Speranza Scappucci, regia di Giorgio Barberio Corsetti) e Cherubino ne Le Nozze di Figaro al Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (direttore Stefano Montanari, regia di Graham Vick). Nel gennaio del 2019 è stata nuovamente Rosina ne Il barbiere di Siviglia all’Opera di St. Etienne (direttore Michele Spotti, regia di Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau).
Reut Ventorero interpreta repertori che spaziano dalla musica antica alla musica contemporanea, passando per la musica da camera eseguiti nell’ambito di festival quali Festival Classique, Festival Oude Muziek di Utrecht, Holland Festival, Abu-Gosh Festival, Dav Van La Petite Bande, Israeli Music Fest e presso prestigiose sale da concerto e teatri quali il Concertgebouw di Amsterdam, il Bozar di Bruxelles, l’Opéra di Reims, l’Opéra di Vichy e il KKL Luzern e collaborando con direttori quali Ton Koopman (Membra Jesu Nostri di Buxtehude), Martin Gester (La Mort de Didon di Montéclair), Konrad Junghänel, Shalev Ad-El (King Arthur di Purcell) e ensemble quali Les Esprits Animaux, Meitar Ensemble, Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, Solisti della Israel Camerata Jerusalem, Ensemble Solistes XXI col quale ha registrato un concerto trasmesso da Radio France e la Ra’anana Symphonette per la creazione di Good night sweet ladies di Milch-Sheriff direttto da Ed Spanjaard.
Nel 2020 interpreterà due ruoli nell’opera The Cut Glass Bowl di Hana Ajiashvili scritti appositamente per la sua voce nell’ambito del Felicja Blumental Festival.
Reut Ventorero, mezzo-soprano
Jeune Mezzo-soprano israélienne, Reut Ventorero est diplômée de l’Académie de Musique et Danse de Jérusalem et du Conservatoire Royal de la Hague où elle se spécialise en musique ancienne. Très tôt remarquée pour son talent, elle obtient plusieurs bourses d’études, Ronen Foundation (2005-2013), American-Israël Cultural Foundation (2003-2009), Israel Vocal Arts Institute (2012-2013) et reçoit le Prix d’Excellence de la Fondation Buchman-Heiman. Elle enrichit sa formation auprès de Monica Bacelli, Mariella Devia, Roberto Frontali, Paul Agnew, Elly Ameling, Johannette Zomer, Peter Harvey, Christian Immler et Andreas Scholl.
En 2016 Reut Ventorero intègre la Fabbrica dell’Opera di Roma – YAP, un cycle de haut perfectionnement vocal promu par l’Opéra qui marque une étape essentielle dans le développement de sa carrière.
Dans ce cadre elle interprète de nombreux rôles parmis lesquels Lo scoiattolo dans Lo scoiattolo in gamba de Nino Rota, Rosina dans Il barbiere di Siviglia – et Zerlina dans Don Giovanni, tous deux dans le cadre du projet OperaCamion mise en scène par Fabio Cherstich. Elle interprète également Giovanna dans Rigoletto (Gamba/Muscato), Seconda Conversa dans Suor Angelica (Rustioni/ Michieletto), Eine Kunstgewerblerin dans Lulu (Pérez/Kentridge) et Ines dans Il Trovatore (Bignamini/Ollé). Enfin elle double Ascanio dans Benvenuto Cellini (Abbado/Gilliam).
Pour la saison 2017/2018 elle retourne sur la scène de l’Opéra de Rome pour y interpréter Teresa dans La Sonnambula (Scappucci/Corsetti) enregistré pour la télévision publique italienne, ainsi que Cherubino dans Le nozze di Figaro (Montanari/Vick).
Elle chante le rôle de Rosina au Théâtre de Biel Solothurn pour une production incluant plus de 20 représentations (Trinca/Lauwers) et reprendra le personnage en janvier 2019 à l’Opéra de Saint-Etienne sous la direction de Michele Spotti et mise en scène de Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau.
On retient de sa formation et expériences musicales son éclectisme et la curiosité avec laquelle elle aborde les répertoires les plus divers, c’est ainsi que Reut Ventorero a été invitée à des programmes de renom comme Les résidences Voix et Creation (2015) à l’Académie du Festival d’Aix et à l’Académie du Festival de Lucerne (2014) sous la direction de Sir Simon Rattle et Barbara Hannigan;
À l’Académie baroque européenne d’Ambronay (2013) elle chante Eurydice dans l’Orfeo du Monteverdi lors de la tournée européenne dirigée par Leonardo Garcia Alarcon. Entre 2012 et 2015 elle participe au programme lyrique du Vocal Arts Institute à Tel Aviv.
Reut Ventorero interprète des répertoires allant du baroque à la musique de chambre, en passant par la musique contemporaine incluant des pièces écrites spécialement pour sa voix, et se produit avec l’orchestre du kibboutz de Netanya en Israël, l’Ensemble Solistes XXI (enregistrement pour Radio France) et l’Ensemble Meitar à l’occasion de nombreux festivals tels que le Festival Classique, le Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht, le Holland Festival le Festival d’Abou Gosh, et le Dag van La Petite Bande.
Pour la prochaine saison Reut Ventorero participera au Israeli Music Fest 2019 avec les solistes de l’Israeli Camerata Jerusalem ainsi qu’au Festival Felicja Blumental dans le nouvel Opéra de Hana Ajiashvili “The Cut Glass Bowl” où elle chantera des rôles écrits spécialement pour sa voix.

Die israelische Mezzosopranistin ist Absolventin der Jerusalemer Akademie für Musik und Tanz sowie des Königlichen Konservatorium Den Haag. Sie perfektionierte ihre Ausbildung durch zahlreiche Meisterkurse bei Mariella Devia, Monica Bacelli, Alessandro Corbelli, Roberto Frontali, Elly Ameling, Paul Agnew, Christian Immler, John Norris, Riccardo Frizza und Jesús López Cobos. Im Laufe ihrer Ausbildung gewann sie Stipendien von Stiftungen wie The America-Israel Cultural Foundation, The Ronen Foundation, The Israel Vocal Arts Institute und den Excellence prise der The Buchman-Heiman Foundation.
Sie wurde zu diversen Young Artists Programmen eingeladen:
(2015) Voice and Creation Residency im Rahmen des Festival Aix-en-Provence, (2014) Lucerne Festival Academy, wo sie Berio unter der Leitung von Sir Simon Rattle und Britten unter der Leitung von Barbara Hannigan sang, (2013) Ambronay Festival Academy als Euridice in Monteverdis L’Orfeo in einer European tour unter Leonardo García Alarcón und (2012-2015) regelmäßige Teilnahme im Sommer Opernprogramm der “nternational Vocal Arts Institute in Tel-Aviv.
Sie trat als Solisten mit Dirigenten wie Stefano Montanari, Speranza Scappucci, Daniel Rustioni, Konrad Junghänel, Ton Koopman und Ed Spanjaard auf. Zahlreiche Auftritte bei Festivals wie Utrecht Festival of Early Music, Festival Classique, Holland Festival und der Dag van La Petite Bande führten sie in wichtige Konzertsäle wie Het Concertgebouw, Bozar, Opera Reims, Opera Vichy, Victoria Hall Geneva und KKL Luzern.
Als Mitglied der Fabbrica” YAP des Teatro dell’Opera di Roma sang sie in der Saison 2015/2016 und 2016-2017: Rosina (il barbiere di Sivilgia – Figaro! OperaCamion) in Rom und später in Palermo mit dem Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Zerlina (Don Giovanni OperaCamion), Giovanna (Rigoletto), Ines (Il Trovatore), Eine Kunstgewerblerin (Lulu), Seconda Conversa (Suor Angelica) und Lo Scoiattolo (Lo scoiattolo in gamba).
Der Höhepunkt der Saison 2017/2018 war Rosina im Theater Orchester Biel, im Teatro dell’Opera di Roma die Teresa (La Sonnambula) mit Aufnahmen der italienischen Radio – und Fernsehsender Rai 3 und Rai 5.
Weiterhin debütierte sie als Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro in einer Produktion unter Graham Wick. Die Saison 2018/2019 begann sie in der ‘Opera de Saint Etienne’ mit der Rolle der Rosina in einer Produktion unter der Regie von Pierre- Emmanuel Rousseau und der Leitung von Michele Spotti.
Das Roma Tre Orchestra, das Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, das Meitar Ensemble und das Solistes XXI (mit Aufnahmen für Radio France) engagierten sie für Frühbarockmusik, nKammermusik, zeitgenössische Musik und Stücke, die für ihre Stimme geschrieben wurden.

בין אולמות הקונצרטים בהם הופיעה נמנים הקונצרטחבאו באמסטרדם, בוזאר בבריסל, KKL בלוצרן, אופרה ריימס ואופרה וישי בצרפת תחת שרביטם של מנצחים כגון סר סיימון ראטל, ספרנצה סקפוצ’י, סטפנו מונטנרי, טון קופמן, קונרד יונגהנל, לאונרדו גרסיה אלרקון ועוד. שרה במסגרת פסטיבל אוטרכט למוזיקה עתיקה, פסטיבל הולנד, פסטיבל אבו-גוש ובDag van La Petite Bande. רעות הוזמנה להשתתף בתוכניות יוקרתיות לזמרים צעירים במסגרת פסטיבל אמברונה (2013), פסטיבל לוצרן (2014) ובפסטיבל אקס אן-פרובנס (2015). כמו-כן, השתתפה בסדנת האופרה הבינ”ל בת”א בין השנים 2013-2015.
הופיעה והקליטה לרדיו עם תז’ הקונסרבטוריון המלכותי בהאג, MUSICA AMPHION, אגודת באך ההולנדית, LES ESPRITS ANIMAUX, בארוק ווקאל מיינץ וכן עם האנסמבל הפריזאי Solistes xxi. בישראל הופיעה כסולנית עם התזמורת הקאמרית הקיבוצית, סימפונט רעננה, אנסמבל מיתר, המקהלה והתזמורת של האקדמיה בי-ם והאנסמבל הישראלי הקולי החדש. רעות ביצעה בבכורה יצירות שנכתבו במיוחד עבורה מאת אלה מילך-שריף, ירח פשימן, שרה ליאן לוויס, נדב כהן ופביה סנטקובסקי . היא השתלמה בכיתות אמן בהדרכת ברברה הניגן, אלי אמלינג, אנדראס שול, פול אגניו, רוברטו פרונטלי, מרינה רבקה ומריאלה דוויה.
בעונות 2015-2016 ו 2016-2017 היתה חברה באופרה סטודיו “פבריקה” של בית האופרה ברומא שם ביצעה מגוון תפקידים כולל רוזינה בספר מסיביליה, ג’ובאנה בריגולטו, אינס באיל טרובטורה, נזירה מתלמדת בנזירה אנג’ליקה, האמנית בלולו הסנאי בהסנאי החכם וצרלינה בדון ג’ובאני.
בעונה 2017-2018 היא שרה את רוזינה בספר מסיביליה בתיאטרון של ביל/סולוטורן שבשוויץ וחזרה לבית האופרה ברומא ככרובינו בנישואי פיגארו, תרזה בלה סונמבולה וצרלינה בדון ג’ובאני. רעות פתחה את עונה 2018-2019 כרוזינה בהפקה של בית האופרה בסנט- אטיין שבצרפת תחת שרביטו של מיקלה ספוטי.
זוכת מלגות קרן התרבות אמריקה-ישראל, קרן רונן, קרן בוכמן-היימן ומהמכון הישראלי לזמרה אמנותית.
